Creating a high-performance team identity for a collegiate engineering competition team

Youngstown State University’s BAJA Racing Team partnered with Jessica Creative Strategies to develop an updated logo that better reflects the team’s technical skill, competitive spirit, and off-road racing focus.

Grounded in research around the team’s values and engineering-driven mindset, JCS created a dynamic visual identity inspired by speed, durability, and performance. Strategic choices in color, typography, and form helped convey energy and precision while improving visibility across vehicles, apparel, and event materials.
